Serneke introduces new share savings program for employees
Serneke is introducing a new long-term share savings program for all full-time employees in the Serneke Group. This resolution was made by the company’s Annual General Meeting on May 3, 2018.
The program is intended to increase opportunities to retain and recruit skilled employees. Serneke continues to expand significantly, which will require extensive recruitment across Sweden in the coming years. Therefore, the opportunity to offer a personal ownership commitment is considered essential for strengthening Serneke’s employee offering.
“Our employees and our unique corporate culture are the keys to our success. Serneke has always been characterized by commitment and participation. To strengthen this, and ensure continued success, we are launching a new share savings program,” says Ola Serneke, CEO of Serneke Group AB.
The program is long-term and is proposed to consist of annual recurring sub-programs, initially from 2018 to 2020, with a maturity of three years each.
Employees are given the opportunity to invest in Serneke shares, and those employees who have retained the shares and been employed throughout the term to maturity are offered one share for two of their own shares, free of charge. If Serneke performs well, the employee can be offered an additional share for two of their own shares, thereby doubling the number of shares.
“This is a way to emphasize the importance of our employees. We view the opportunity for our employees to take part of the company’s success as a matter of course in our ambition to be the industry’s most attractive employer. We are convinced that the program will benefit Serneke’s development, thus benefiting both our employees and the company’s shareholders,” says Ola Serneke.
