Serneke to construct 80 apartments in Växjö
Serneke has signed an agreement with Lansa Fastigheter to build 80 apartments in central Växjö. The order value of this turnkey contract is SEK 109 million.
Construction encompasses 80 apartments in total, distributed within a building above a basement garage of approximately 1,150 m2. This project maintains a superior sustainability profile and will, where this is technically possible, be constructed using carbon-reduced concrete. Solar panels with battery storage and geothermal heating will be installed in the property, which will be certified according to the Miljöbyggnad Silver environmental standard.
Serneke has another project already in progress in Växjö alongside Lansa Fastigheter. In the Lågan neighborhood, 86 rental apartments are currently being constructed, with tenants expected to move in during July.

We now look forward to getting started with construction and to continuing the project on site,” says Fredrik Nilsson, Works Manager at Serneke.

The project also maintains a high sustainability profile, which is in line with our vision to construct properties with a strong environmental focus in regions experiencing strong growth,” says Ulrika von Wachenfeldt, Project Manager at Lansa.
Construction is scheduled to commence in August 2021, with the project planned for completion in the spring of 2023. The order amount of SEK 109 million, will be included in the order bookings for the second quarter of 2021. The agreement is conditional on a building permit being granted, with a decision in this regard being expected in May 2021.
