Ångfärjan

Serneke civil engineering carries out a project at Ångfärjan-plot in Helsingborg worth approximately 25 million SEK. The client is the City of Helsingborg, who after many years of discussion now received the go-ahead to prepare the area for construction of recidences and a hotel- and exhibition centre.

The docks will be rebuilt and the harbour basin will be filled on the area of 1550 sqm along the harbour square's southern dock. The ground work for Ångfärjan-station's new location is ongoing here. The project has been awarded Serneke civil engineering that once more has proved that they stand up well against the major competitors on the market.

- This means a lot to us in our ongoing expansion. The City of Helsingborg is an important client and we are very pleased and excited to be involved in developing the city, says Fredrik Jonsson, CEO of Serneke civil engineering.

The ground project began in early September and will finish at the end of January. The project then continues with building recidences and a hotel- and exhibition centre.
